worn gym equipment limited room service
The gym equipment looked quite worn. i wanted to use a treadmill but it kept making a strange noise. also the room service menu was surprisingly limited. I expected more options. there was a stain on my bed sheet too, which wasn't ideal.

a mixed experience overall
dated decor cooking odor
the staff were friendly and helpful .
the room decor felt quite dated, and a noticeable cooking odor permeated the entire hotel, which wasn't very appealing (i didn't like it).

fantastic city stay
friendly staff helpful staff metro station afternoon tea
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to check in earlier than expected. the hotel location is fantastic and close to the metro station. i loved the afternoon tea with complimentary snacks, available also at other hotels around the city.
The windows in my room faced the street. traffic noise made it hard to rest at night. There was almost no difference if they were open or closed.

The double room included a kettle and a coffee machine. the room was nicely themed. It also had its own unique charm. the dimensions were adequate. It was quite quiet, though the shower could have been better.

varied breakfast replenished mini-bar late snack poor gym bad decoration food smell
the breakfast was very good and varied. i found mini-bar included and always replenished with soft drinks a nice touch. also, the lobby had snacks till late, i liked that.
the gym wasnt great, i thought the decoration was not good. also, there was a smell of food throughout the hotel, that i didn't enjoyed.

ineffective air conditioning minimal tea selection
I had some issues . The air conditioning did not work effectively, and the room felt stuffy (even after reporting it). The selection of tea and coffee in the room was minimal. I think the hotel could improve this with some better quality options.
